If you’re like us, you’re stunned that we’re into the second week of September – so before the year runs out, be sure to book your dental visit with our friends at Arverne Dental . Dr. Lubya Taft and the staff are eager to welcome you to the state-of-the-art facility. Those who jive interior design will be charmed by the modern, yet warm environment you’ll find at Arverne Dental .

If local theater is your jam, you’re sure to enjoy The Rockaway Theater Company’s production of Honeymoon In Vegas. Opening night will be tomorrow, September 9th at 8 pm, and the matinees’ performance starts on September 10.

The weather is forecasted to be lovely, so come out and meet the folks of Beacon Rehabilitation Center , Saturday, Sept 10, to learn about their facility and services. Be sure to grab a free cooler bag and a waterproof case for your mobile phone not to mention some goodies too!

On a somber note, we pause to remember those who perished on September 11. If you wish to join the community, Friends of the Tribute Park will hold the annual Reading of the names of Rockaway residents and placing of roses upon the memorial.

Oh and Save the Date…

Next weekend kicks off the Rockaway Film Festival but get your tickets here as the independent event kicks off its 5th year serving the community.
