DISCUSSION: Welcome to the second half of the work week! And today will be much cooler than yesterday due to the nice cool front that pushed through. We made it to 88 in La Crosse, which is 4 degrees above average. (84 is our average high. Our average low is 63, which was also our morning low.) Today, we will see highs in the upper 70s – low 80s. That trend continues for tomorrow, BUT…rain chances will increase.

We’ll see plenty of sunshine today, It’ll be a perfect day to have a nice lunch outside. As we go into the overnight hours, rain chances will start to increase. By the morning hours of your Friday, you’ll definitely need the raingear as you head into work. The rain will taper off for the most part in the afternoon & early evening hours. I will not rule out a lingering shower or two in the afternoon & evening hours. Highs tomorrow will only be in the 70s, and some places…won’t even see that.

So there is the rain chance I was talking about for Friday with those fall-like highs. Then we go back into the 80s for the weekend. Another front pushes its way through Sunday Night/Monday Morning which will drop the temperatures yet again. Rain chances will resume again for Wednesday & Thursday.
