Visit five farms from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Steuben County invites the public and families to visit five Steuben County farms on October 8 for a free look at agriculture in our county. Farm Trail Day will offer wagon rides, demonstrations, crafts, animals to pet, products for purchase, and so much more. The farms will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Collect a sticker from each farm you visit and place it on the passport available at PutKnowledgeToWork.org or the farm. Or register your visit on the Finger Lakes Farm Country app. Those who are staying at least three farms will be placed into a drawing to win a basket of local food from the participating farms.

It is suggested that visitors bring appropriate footwear for a farm, money for entrance fees or to purchase goods and excursions if you please, and a cooler bag in case you are buying farm foods.
