The pressure on food delivery agents has increased after several companies promising very fast deliveries in a frantic race to beat rivals.

The professional rivalry did not get in the way of a beautiful friendship between the food delivery executives of Swiggy and its rival Zomato.

A heartwarming video of two delivery executives from competing companies helping each other in Delhi’s unforgivable heat is doing rounds on social media. In the video, a Swiggy delivery executive, on a motorcycle, can be seen holding the hand of its Zomato delivery man who was riding a bicycle on Delhi road.

The Swiggy man was pulling his counterpart executive because the Zomato delivery agent did not have to pedal in the scorching heat of the national capital.

The pressure on food delivery agents has increased after several companies promised very fast deliveries in a frantic race to beat rivals. Notably, it was started during Covid when the companies promised the fastest deliveries of food items.

Such incidents have raised concerns over the safety of delivery executives as they rush through traffic to meet the deadline.

Zomato had recently faced backlash over their 10-minute delivery service. Clarifying his objective behind 5-minute delivery, Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal had tweeted that 10-minute delivery is as safe for our delivery partners as 30-minute delivery.

The Indo-Japanese car manufacturer Maruti Suzukithe is all set to launch one of its hot-selling products Alto’s next-generation model in India on August 18, 2022

The Indo-Japanese car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is currently enjoying the success of its newly launched vehicles that include new age Baleno, Ertiga facelift and the new XL6 in the country.

Now, the firm is all set to launch one of its hot-selling products Alto’s next-generation model in India on August 18, 2022. The company has already dropped an official teaser of the hatchback, revealing some of its key features and design.

According to the teaser, it can be seen that the upcoming next-generation Alto will launch with some noticeable cosmetic changes. The vehicle is also likely to resemble with its sibling Celerio. Report said that the car might launch on the brand’s new modular HEARTECT platform that underpins the new Wagon R, S-Presso and the new Celerio hatchback.

The all-new Alto is likely to come with an updated design, which will make that hatchback more aggressive in terms of looks. However, the entry-level car will retain the basic signature shape and size. Talking about the front profile, the small car is likely to come to a new design with a bigger chrome grille, larger cladding, sweptback headlamps and redesigned bumper. The reports revealed that the hatchback also might come with an LED fog lamp and day running light.

As far as the side profile is concerned, the hatchback will share the same look as the current model but it will be taller than the outgoing car. Customers can expect 14-inch alloy wheels in the top variants. At the back, the updated Alto is likely to come with a tailgate design and a redesigned rear bumper.

The car might launch with a new K10C dualjet 1.0L 3-cylinder petrol engine with an idle start/stop system, under which it will generate 67bhp and 89Nm of peak torque.

The limited number of head-to-head matches between the arch rivals in the last decade has further increased the importance of the face-off between the two sides.

India and Pakistan, the two biggest cricket rivals, are set to face off against each other in Asia Cup on August 28 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The India-Pakistan match is one of the most awaited encounters in the field of cricket as the fans rarely witness this rivalry on the field because the two teams haven’t played any bilateral series since January 2013.

In such a case, the two arch-rivals only met with each other in ICC events like Asia Cup and T20 World Cup which give the fans a chance to cheer for their respective teams in the high-value match.

Ahead of the upcoming India-Pakistan match in Asia Cup 2022, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam is not shy in admitting that the India-Pakistan game has always been a pressure game. The pressure is always there, he admitted it during an interaction with journalists.

Responding to the question that Pakistani players are under huge pressure ahead of much awaited India Pakistan encounter in the upcoming Asia Cup, Babar said yes, obviously the pressure is different in the high voltage encounter.

The limited number of head-to-head matches in the last decade has further increased the importance of the face-off between the two sides.
