A Staten Island teen dropped what appeared to be a gun inside a school as he was horsing around with a friend — sending him bolting from safety agents, according to cops and video.

The apparent weapon fell onto the floor after the 17-year-old jumped onto a pal’s back at Port Richmond High School around 11 a.m., cops said.

The video shows school safety agents who were standing nearby try to stop him from leaving — but he flees out of the building.

Police were called and were still looking for him in the late afternoon, cops said.

“It’s unknown if it was real or not,” an NYPD spokesman said of the apparent firearm. “They’re looking for him.”
