Amazon Prime Day is here and there are thousands of deals across the site whether you're looking for a top-of-the-range gadget or just some really tasty discount snacks.
Amazon Prime Day has started with a bang. The internet giant launched thousands of deals from midnight with massive discounts on everything from smartphones to Alexa devices.
We've been updating since early flagging up everything from Kipling handbags to bacon flavour fries, bestselling Shark cordless vacuums to Kindle tablets reduced to £24.99 and there's still plenty more to come, with lightning deals going live hourly now for shoppers keen on particular products.
Amazon Prime members will get that crucial early access to Lightning Deals. This is important because many of the best Lightning Deals are based on both a time limit and stock limits, meaning once enough people claim the deal it will be removed.
If you're not a member of Prime yet you can join here. This will also give you free delivery on a large number of items during the Amazon Prime Day sale.
Prime Day is one of the biggest shopping days in the calendar with everything from TVs, laptops, beauty products, fashion, toys and gaming items reduced. But with so many different products discounted it can feel a bit overwhelming. Don't worry though, we've got you. Stick with us and we'll take you through some of the best we find. Possibly powered by reduced price coffee and snacks. Bacon flavour fries anyone?
What have you snapped up so far? Do you have any questions about Amazon Prime Day? Why not get in touch via email or on Twitter?
If like us you're reaching a middle of the day lull then it might be time to scope out a new coffee machine. Amazon has slashed the price of Nespresso models by more than half price in some cases with some of its most expensive models now some of the most affordable on the market.
In particular, the Nespresso Virtuo Plus has had its price slashed to £60.99 - when it usually costs £123.51. The coffee machine comes in a limited edition stylish white.
The next best deal is the Nespresso Creatista Plus Coffee Machine by Sage, which is a number one best seller on Amazon. It usually retails for £479.95, but during Prime Day, it is down to £260.99.
The Nespresso Virtuo Next is also down to £80 from £150. The machine has a 4.2 rating out of five on Amazon, with 66 per cent of buyers giving it a five star rating.
Gadget lovers assemble. The Apple Watch is now officially at the lowest price at which the internet giant has ever sold new versions of the popular wearable tech.
The Apple Watch SE has been reduced by up to 26% depending on which colour you choose, whether you go for GPS only or with additional Cellular coverage and whether 40mm or 44mm face.
The biggest discount is on the classic silver aluminium case with abyss blue sport band, which comes in at £199 including delivery, well below the usual £269 price tag. The best value 44mm SE option is the same silver/blue combination, which comes in at £267 for the GPS only version, a slightly less impressive saving of 16%.
For Apple users wanting a higher spec watch, the Series 7 has also been discounted for Prime Day.
The best deal here will see shoppers save 19%, or £90, on the price of the 41mm GPS only version. The aluminium green/clover coloured edition is reduced to £379 for the next 24 hours or until stocks last, although other colours are available with smaller discounts of between 9% and 11%.
Meanwhile, you can pick up an iPad for less than £300 for a limited time during the Amazon Prime Day sale. This by no means applies to an old model either - this is on the brand new 2021 10.2 inch iPad.
The deal applies to both space grey and silver iPads, which can be toggled on the IPad product page on Amazon. The price works on the 64gb wifi iPads.
This is the cheapest iPad model sold by Apple, which also sells an iPad Mini, an iPad Air and an iPad Pro. All three are also discounted for Prime Day, with the iPad Mini selling for £459 (usually £479), the iPad Air for £419 (usually £519) and the iPad Pro selling for £699 (usually £749).
Everyone loves to be pampered sometimes and posh beauty brand Elemis is one of the most popular, with their products often used at the fanciest of health and beauty spas. But now you can recreate a posh facial at a much more reasonable cost as the skincare firm has cut prices on a wide range of their most popular lines, offering huge savings on products as part of a Prime Day promotion.
Originally priced at a whopping £89, the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream is an anti-wrinkle moisturiser 'clinically proven' to improve hydration, leaving skin looking firmer and feeling more radiant. According to the Elemis website, the award-winning anti-ageing cream increases hydration by up to 248% in one hour.
Formulated with marine and plant actives such as Padina Pavonica, Chlorella and Ginkgo Biloba, the formula is said to 'reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 2 weeks'. It also helps to improve the look of firmness and elasticity for skin that looks smooth and rejuvenated.
The cream is to be used every morning after cleansing, and all you need is a pea-sized amount. Gently smooth the product over your face and neck in upwards strokes to ensure even coverage. The cream has received thousands of five star reviews from shoppers, who claim the product 'never fails'.
The cream is currently on sale for £55 instead of £89. Other Elemis products reduced include cleansing balms in a range of flavours and my much-loved Frangipani salt glow body scrub which smells like holiday and has the amazing ability to both exfoliate your body while making you feel all moisturised afterwards. Bliss in a jar. If you're not sure you want to spend £30 on the body scrub - although it is a third off which is a great deal - why not try the Frangipani shower cream, reduced to £5.99? It won't exfoliate in the same way, obviously, (this may be why they don't tend to ask me to write about beauty) but it still has the incredible holiday scent that will put a spring in your step.
Foodies are snapping up a cult kitchen gadget which can replace 11 different kitchen gadgets and has devotees across the world who post in Facebook and Reddit communities about the foods they can prepare in the versatile machine.
The Instant Pot Pro Crisp, which is described by IP fans as the ultimate kitchen gadget, has been reduced by £80 to £169.99 for Prime Day. The Pro Crisp is Instant Pot's top-of-the-range device, offering 11 functions in 1 including pressure cooker, slow cooker, steamer, sauté pan, food warmer, sous vide machine, air fryer, roaster, mini oven, grill, and dehydrator.
The machine is just one of the Instant Pot range discounted by around a third for the event, with the Instant Pot Vortex 4-in-1 Air Fryer which air fries, bakes, roasts and reheats meals now £59.99. Meanwhile the entry-level gadget, the Instant Pot Duo, which has 13 one-touch programs is reduced to £56.99.
Instant Pots have a devoted following on Facebook and Reddit, with fans posting in communities to share photos and recipes of meals they've made using the versatile gadget - ranging from cheesecakes to stews, curries to crunchy chips and fried chicken.
There's plenty of other kitchen gadgets deals in the sale for anyone looking for culinary inspiration. The Ninja 11-in-1 multi cooker is reduced by £90, down from £280 to £190 in the biggest discount in the sale. The six-litre cooker combines steam cooking, pressure cooking and air frying in one unit and says it can cook meals 70% faster than traditional slow cookers.
Other Ninja discounts include 14% off a 5.2-litre air fryer, which is now down to £129. You can also get £50 off a Ninja blender and £10 off a slimline blender and smoothie maker. There is also £20 off a 'perfect temperature Ninja kettle in the sale.
If lockdown taught us anything it's that, with a bit of effort, you can pretty much order anything online and get it delivered to your house.
And lo it has come to pass on Amazon Prime Day too. From 2.8Kg of M&Ms in a range of flavours for £17.39 - they say it's a party box, but who are we to judge? - to Graze Marmite Lover's cashew nuts selection boxes for £15.62 there's something for everyone.
As for me, I'm getting primary school lunchbox flashbacks with this case of 24 bags of Smiths Bacon Flavour Fries for just £8.62. While some of my schoolmates preferred the classic Scampi flavoured option, for me this were the perfect crisp snack and way better, and more importantly, crunchier than the Frazzles of which they looked like a smaller yet tougher version.
At less than 36p a bag these are way cheaper than either the supermarket or the pub, if you're lucky enough to go to a pub that still sells them. And it even comes with the bags on the cardboard hanger if you wanted to take your own home bar to the next level (although sadly I think that might be where my husband draws the line).
Well we're nine hours in and while we've all got out favourite products (so far I've been tempted by both a £35 Kindle and a Kipling laptop bag reduced from £122 to £45) as ever Amazon shoppers are voting with their clicking finger and have been snapping up a wide range of products.
Unsurprisingly the Shark cordless vacuum we flagged earlier is doing well. Reduced to £189.99 it's a Prime Day and Black Friday staple with shoppers loving both the brand and the 41% discount.
Elsewhere, the hot weather is clearly a factor with some of the key products. Amazon's 3-speed Oscillating Pedestal Fan is reduced to just £23.50 with a 29% discount while a Pro Breeze tower fan is £52.49, reduced by 33%.
If you want to get out in the garden but mowing the lawn feels like hard work in the heat it would appear you aren't alone. This Flymo robot lawn mower is reduced to £372.99 for the duration of the sale.
While it might not look the most exciting of deals on the table, at 61% off this PS5 compatible 1TB SSD gaming drive with heatsink down to £99.74 is the best value early deal of the day.
What have you snapped up so far? Why not tell me either via email or on Twitter?
If you've had an early start then now is the time for a coffee. Ever fancied a brew like a billionaire's? Then why not pick up a Bluetooth smart mug made by the brand beloved by former Chancellor Rishi Sunak - although with discounted prices starting at £79.95 they might still not be everyone's cup of tea.
In 2020 the then-Chancellor sparked headlines accusing him of being 'tone deaf' after The Mirror showed a photo of him with his £180 coffee cup preparing for a mini-budget to tackle rising job losses at the height of the Coronavirus pandemic. Ember, the brand that makes the travel mug, has reduced some of its mugs by 20%, marking the first time they've joined the Amazon's Prime Day sale.
But he's not the only coffee lover keen to keep his brew at the ideal temperature - despite its price the mugs are currently rated 4.4 out of five stars on Amazon by gadget fans, boasting more than 2,600 reviews.
Drinkers can choose, set and maintain their perfect drinking temperature for hot beverages down to the exact degree using a mobile app. They can get notifications to their phone to tell them when the drinks are ready and can even save pre-sets in case their preferred temperatures for tea, coffee and hot chocolate vary.
Available in either black or white in the Prime Day sale the 10oz Ember mug is 20% off, reduced from £99.95 to £79.95, while the bigger 14oz version is reduced by 23% to £99.95 from £129.95.
At full charge the mug will keep your coffee hot for 90 minutes, but it also comes with a coaster which will keep your hot drink warm all day if you keep the mug docked into it.
Is this the ultimate gift for the coffee lover in your life and something you're picking up in readiness for Christmas or app controlled lunacy? Why not tell me what you think via email or on Twitter?
Shoppers have spotted a price glitch on the John Lewis website that cuts the price of a £2,600 sofa to just £100.
The large two-seater recliner sofa is usually priced at £2,600 but choosing different colour options reduces the price by a staggering £2,500 as many shoppers label it a price 'glitch'.
The deal was spotted by bargain hunters on deals website HotUKDeals, where a user posted the message: "Select any colour in price band D and you’ll get the sofa for £100 instead of £2,600. Mrs isn’t happy I ordered two sofas out of nowhere, but she won’t be upset when they arrive."
If the warm weather has you yearning to lounge in a hot tub in the garden then we might have found you the perfect option.
A range of Lay Z Spa hot tubs are among the tens of thousands of products reduced by the internet giant this morning with the biggest discount coming in at a whopping 61%, meaning shoppers could have a Hawaii hot tub in their garden for just £269.99.
The 4-6 person hot tub has an easy tool-free set up and inflates with its own pump within five minutes. It has 140 air jets around the edge of the pool, offering a relaxing massage wherever you sit in the 40 degree rapidly heated water.
It also comes with two year warranty and freeze shield technology so you can use the hot tub year round.
The Lay Z Spa Hawaii pool is just one of a host of outdoor gadgets available in today's promotion with pressure washers, barbecues and lawn mowers also discounted if you'd rather spend your weekend being more active in the garden.
I've got my eye on this Bosch high pressure washer reduced to £76.99 with 57% off. Having spent all last weekend on my hands and knees trying to get weeds out from between my patio slabs I'm also tempted by the patio accessory attachment. As is tradition, Karcher products have been reduced too but for my money (literally) Bosch seems the more tempting prospect today.
Devotees of Kipling handbags have lots to enjoy on Amazon Prime Day with a host of the firm's most popular styles reduced for the occasion, including the Alvar, which is one of their best-selling crossbody bags and has been reduced by 51% in seven colours, taking it down to as low as £30.42. Another popular staple is the Arto which has been reduced to £28.24 in beige, while the Art Mini starts at £38.35 and Kipling school bags in a range of colours start at £38.99.
Shortly after 6am though I have found my first bargain I am sorely tempted to pick up myself - who doesn't need a new work bag? The best Kipling discount I've found so far is the brand's Superworker laptop bag reduced from £122 to £45.53. Described by one shopper as the 'perfect laptop bag' it has space for a 13 inch laptop, A4 notebooks, water bottle, umbrella and items that would normally go into a handbag thanks to all the front pockets.

We know vacuum cleaner brand Shark is always popular on Prime Days and Black Fridays, with shoppers keen to try their well-reviewed hoovers at a hefty discount.
Well with this Shark Powered Lift-Away Upright vacuum cleaner model reduced to half price and now coming in at £159.99 we're expecting it to fly off the virtual shelves this morning.
The Amazon exclusive corded model comes in Chimera blue with three different sets of additional tools - a car detailing kit, pet tool and multi-surface tool for getting into difficult to reach crevices.
If you'd prefer a stick-style cleaner then there's also 40% off a cordless version, taking it down to £189.99.
There's a few other models available too in the Prime Day sale here.
Kitchen appliances are also included in the Amazon Prime Day sale and air fryers have now fallen in price to as little as £35. The Tower low fat air fryer is reduced from £60 to £35 in the sale and is the cheapest air fryer on sale on the Amazon site during the sale.
The discounts also include a Philips 4.1-litre air fryer, which has been reduced from £150 to just £90. The air fryer can be used for frozen snacks, fries, meat, fish, chicken drumsticks, cake and even grilled vegetables and comes with seven different settings.
Other kitchen deals in the Amazon sale include a Morphy Richards slow cooker for just £20 and a Philips eco-friendly kettle for £37. Blenders, bread makers and sandwich makers are also reduced in a host of kitchen appliance sales.

Morrisons shoppers can get free food shop delivery for Prime Day. All they have to do is sign up to a 30 day Amazon Prime trial. But, when a huge offer like this comes available, spaces are predictably limited.
Not only is delivery completely free, it can also be same day.. Groceries are available on the Amazon Fresh pages too if you don't manage to get lucky with a delivery slot with Morrisons.
A little over an hour to go until the first Amazon Prime Day deals arrive.
Feel free to email me on stephen.hurrell@reachplc.com with any requests. I have the deals list here and I can find the best price on your product.
Amazon's Prime Day sale is not just on TVs and laptops. Things like groceries and cleaning products will also be reduced and many of them come highly recommended by cleaning influencer Mrs Hinch.
Amazon has cut the price of Thai Orchid and Passion Fruit 1001 Carpet Fresh Spray by 20%. The carpet spray was labelled as a 'magic' cure for smelly rugs and carpets in her books of cleaning tips.
Amazon has reduced Astonish Window and Glass Cleaner Spray, of which Mrs Hinch says: " "I am yet to find a glass cleaner that can top this!" The cleaner is reduced by a nearly a third in the Prime Day sale.
It's like Christmas Eve for bargain hunters.
The deals will drop at midnight and will continue to arrive in the form of lightning deals. Keep your eyes peeled.
There is a way to see some of the upcoming deals yourself. Just click the 'upcoming' tab on Amazon and you can see all of the items that the retailer intends to reduce.
You can then add anything you like to an Amazon Wishlist and revisit it once the sale begins.
Amazon has been quick to take advantage of the sweltering weather we are enjoying at the moment. Tower fans are in high demand and the best deal around seems to be this mini Black + Decker tower fan priced at just £17. The low noise fan won't cool a room but home workers will be able to use it at their desk to keep cool.
The full size tower fan is also reduced, this time to £45. That's a good deal for a reputable brand.
You can see the fan deals here.
Here's a bit of a tip. The best deals are not always found on the standard Amazon deal section.
As a multinational retail giant Amazon has its own share of returns and second-hand items sitting in warehouses.
The Warehouse is a section of the site selling quality used products - so items which have been returned or are in some other way not new.
All products are tested and graded on their return before being resold, which mean that they are all in good condition but come with a lower price.
You can find the Amazon Warehouse here.
An Amazon Fire Stick TV Lite has now dropped in price below a single 750g tub of Lurpak as the online retailer slashes the price of technology.
The butter hit the headlines this month when the price rose alarmingly in supermarkets. The spreadable butter has risen to a whopping £7.25 in Sainsbury's, while customers at ASDA have reported seeing security tags on the item in a bid to deter shoplifters.
Lurpak has become the product face of the rising cost of living and to further highlight the rise in food costs the price of an Amazon Fire Stick TV Lite has now fallen below the price of a single tub of Lurpak butter. It's now £12.99 in the Amazon Prime Day sale.
Using the Topcashback deal to get £10 back that means you can buy a Fire Stick TV Lite for less than a tub of Lurpak.
Amazon also delivers groceries, and many shoppers have started to buy their weekly shop on the site to take advantage of the Prime savings. Amazon sells thousands of grocery items including fresh produce, household essentials, plus popular and specialist brands through Amazon Fresh or via Morrisons.
Amazon Fresh has a section offering free samples and the current freebies include blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, and red and green grapes. The free samples can be added to any Amazon Fresh shop without a catch. Shoppers can simply add them to their basket and they will be delivered alongside the rest of the shop.
With just a few hours to go until the really juicy deals arrive I have had a look at the best early deals for you.
The stand out deals are currently on Amazon devices. You can get an Echo Dot fourth generation for £20 and a Fire Stick TV for just £12.99. But there is a way to get them even cheaper.
There's another deal which shoppers can combine with the Prime Day price to get a further £10 off.
Those who sign up to TopCashback can get the Echo Dot for just £10 thanks to their £10 cash back on a £10, or more, spend offer. TopCashback is a deals site that offers its customers money back when they purchase retailer's offers on their website. The free site gives money back at different rates on a range of offers via a variety of brands.
You can get that deal here.
