CRASHES — Report at 2:46 p.m. Monday of a two-vehicle crash near Casey’s, 13991 Baxter Drive. One vehicle was northbound on Baxter Drive from Charles Street, while the other was turning onto Baxter Drive from Casey’s and did not see the northbound vehicle. The two collided.

Report at 2 p.m. Aug. 11 of a two-vehicle crash on Cypress Drive and Excelsior Road.

ARRESTS — A 51-year-old woman was arrested at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday for driving while intoxicated on Excelsior Road and Grand Oaks Drive.

A 33-year-old woman was arrested at 8:58 p.m. Monday after a report of a domestic dispute on the 4000 block of Emily Road.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 1:23 a.m. Monday of a suspicious person walking along the roadway on Cedar Scenic and Circle Pines roads. The subject said he was out for a walk.

Report at 11:22 p.m. Sunday of two vehicles parked at Kohl’s, 7565 Excelsior Road, after hours. Officer talked with the subjects, who said they were getting back from a church retreat.

Report at 10:37 p.m. Sunday of four suspicious males going in and out of an apartment on the 7000 block of Clearwater Road for the last few days. Officers were unable to locate them.

Report at 12:02 a.m. Saturday of a suspicious vehicle at Taco Bell, 14175 Edgewood Drive. Two juveniles were cited for a small amount of marijuana.

Report at 3:59 p.m. Aug. 11 of a person seeing the same vehicle in the area the past three days on Grand Oaks Drive and Clearwater Road. An officer recognized the vehicle as a newspaper delivery vehicle.

THEFTS — Report Monday of a suspect who altered UPC tags at Walmart, 7295 Glory Road. When confronted by security, the suspect fled on foot, and officers were unable to locate.

Report Sunday of a radio and knife stolen from a camper on the 14000 block of Edgewood Drive.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 1:51 a.m. Sunday of two males with skateboards spraying cars in the parking lot of Community Behavioral Health Hospital, 14241 Grand Oaks Drive, with a hose sticking out of the ground. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area and notified the complainant that the hose was broken a couple days ago.

Report at 4:25 p.m. Saturday of subjects yelling in the lobby of Comfort Suites-Rapid River Lodge and Water Park, 7376 Woida Road. An officer spoke with the subjects and advised them they are no longer welcome on the property.

ARRESTS — A 62-year-old man was arrested at 12:33 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, for misdemeanor disorderly conduct after a report of a suspicious person on the 500 block of C Street.A 42-year-old man was arrested at 5:53 p.m. Tuesday for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation and inimical to public safety following a traffic stop on the 12000 block of Highway 210.

Two 30-year-old men were arrested at 11:34 a.m. Tuesday, one for misdemeanor harassment restraining order violation and the other for felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.

A 36-year-old man was arrested at 5:36 p.m. Monday for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on South Sixth and Sycamore streets.

A 40-year-old man was arrested at 2:36 p.m. Sunday for gross misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and obstruction with force, and misdemeanor domestic assault and disorderly conduct on the 700 block of Fifth Avenue Northeast.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested at 10:04 p.m. Saturday for two counts of felony fourth-degree assault and disorderly conduct on the 500 block of North Third Street.

A 44-year-old man was arrested at 1:03 a.m. Saturday for third-degree DWI after a traffic stop on 13th Avenue Northeast and L Street.

A 27-year-old man was arrested at 12:50 p.m. Aug. 11 for disorderly conduct and obstruction following the report of a disturbance on the 500 block of North Third Street.

A 42-year-old man was arrested at 1:02 a.m. Aug. 11 for felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and petty misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after a report of a suspicious person on the 500 block of North Fifth Street.

A 58-year-old man was arrested at 9:42 p.m. Aug. 9 for gross misdemeanor domestic assault, violating a domestic abuse no contact order and disorderly conduct on the 700 block of Seventh Avenue Northeast.

A 43-year-old man was arrested at 10:40 a.m. Aug. 8 for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI and misdemeanor open container on the 1000 block of South Sixth Street.

A 38-year-old woman was arrested at 4:22 a.m. Aug. 8 for misdemeanor disorderly conduct after the report of a disturbance on the 500 block of North Third Street.

Report at 2:11 p.m. Sunday of a property damage crash on Northwest Fourth and Washington streets. A driver was cited for an uninsured vehicle and failure to change address on driver's license.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 10:51 p.m. Saturday of a vehicle in Memorial Park, 1700 Mill Ave., after hours. The vehicle was found to be overheating, and the driver was advised he should leave the park once the vehicle could be driven again.

Report at 2:22 a.m. Friday of a suspicious vehicle on South 11th and Pine streets. Two people were cited for petty misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Report at 10:53 p.m. Aug. 9 of a person returning home to the 200 block of Oak Street and believing someone was possibly in the basement. Officers responded and checked the basement but did not locate anyone.

Report at 12:58 a.m. Aug. 9 of a suspicious vehicle on the 600 block of Oak Street. Two people were cited, one for curfew and underage drinking and driving, the other for minor consumption of alcohol, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

BURGLARY — Report Saturday of a burglary on the 800 block of South Sixth Street.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 10:35 p.m. Sunday of a male subject wearing dark clothing and carrying a backpack while walking down the road on Buschmann Road and Ranchette Drive. Officers attempted to make contact with the subject, who walked into the adjacent woods. Officers used a thermal imager and observed a person inside a gravel pit, which was posted as no trespassing. The subject disappeared before officers could make contact.

Report at 9:43 p.m. Aug. 11 of a suspicious male on foot near the intersection of County Highway 39 and Ottawa Trail. The subject had been in the area for at least an hour and chased after a vehicle. Officers were unable to locate him.

ARREST — A 27-year-old man was arrested at 10:59 p.m. Aug. 12 for misdemeanor fourth-degree DWI after a traffic stop on County Highway 11 and Whitebirch Drive.

THEFTS — Report Aug. 12 of three sets of golf clubs stolen from a vehicle overnight on the 9000 block of Arnold Palmer Drive.

Report Aug. 12 of golf clubs stolen from the bed of a truck sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 1:45 a.m. on the 31000 block of Douglas Drive.
