Online grocery ordering exploded in popularity during the first months of the coronavirus pandemic, giving customers a way to get their groceries without leaving the house. And that popularity has stayed high even as life has gotten closer to normal.

But another major change is about to happen in New Jersey: the start of the bag ban. Beginning on May 4, plastic bags will be banned in all stores.
